Arabica coffee futures rallied on Wednesday supported by improving technical’s and spillover buying from other soft commodities. The most active contract for September delivery gained 3.65 cents and settled at 167.40 cents a pound.

Newedge
A fall in the traded-weighted U.S. dollar to a three-month low fueled aggressive speculative buying across the commodity spectrum sending New York coffee to within two cents of a twelve-and-one-half year high and to the highest close in the spot month over that period.
