BOGOTA (Dow Jones)--Colombia's coffee output in 2010 will likely reach between 10 million and 10.5 million sixty-kilogram bags, up from 7.8 million bags in 2009, the General Manager of Colombia's National Federation of Coffee Growers, or Fedecafe, said Wednesday.

Arabica Arabica coffee futures climbed to a new high Monday, on fund buying. The nearby contract for September delivery gained 320 points to close at 178.70 cents a pound.

New York reversed yesterday's strong gains as selling in the spot September contract ahead of Monday's first notice day sent the spot spread to a 2010 low 2.90¢ discount.
