Its highest mountain peak is Mt Maromakotro at 2,876 meters above sea level. Coffee is grown along the eastern part of the continent from north to south. Coffee is classified by Grade and category (natural or washed). Robusta coffee is grown using both washed and natural processes.

 

Harvest is from June to September.
